Apple joins Threads.

Apple has created an official account on Threads, Meta's social platform. Although the account has been verified, it has not made any posts so far. The account address is https://www.threads.com/@apple, featuring the company's logo as the profile picture and is simply described as "apple." Despite having 9.8 million followers, the account shows 0 posts.
So far, Apple also has a presence on X (formerly known as Twitter), where it uses the account to highlight products and events, although it does not maintain permanent posts. Apple's presence on Threads is not surprising, given that the company manages an active account on Instagram; both services belong to Meta and share a similar verification process. On its Instagram account, Apple posts photos from its "ShotoniPhone" campaign.
In addition to the main account, Apple has created other profiles on Threads, such as Apple News, Apple Music, and Apple Books, although these also lack content. The only Apple-related accounts that have shown activity on Threads are those of Shazam and Beats by Dre.
