CMF Phone 2 Pro: Nothing reveals prices and details along with new headphones.

Accessible and appealing.

Nothing has recently introduced its new model, the CMF Phone Pro 2, which is set to launch on May 6th. The starting price of the device is $279, which is equivalent to just over 5,500 pesos.

Alongside the phone, the company has also released a range of new earbuds: the CMF Buds 2, Buds 2 Plus, and Buds 2a. In particular, the basic model of the Phone Pro 2, which includes 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, is priced at £219. In comparison, the upper version, with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, is offered at a very accessible price of $279.

The CMF Phone Pro 2 stands out for its impressive specifications for its price range. It features a quad-camera system, with a main 50 MP sensor on the back and a 16 MP front camera. Additionally, it significantly improves its processor compared to its predecessor, the CMF Phone 1, offering 10% more speed and a 5% increase in graphics performance. Its battery life is also noteworthy, as, according to company information, it can last up to two days of usage on a single charge, supporting up to 47 hours of voice calls, 22 hours of YouTube viewing, or 10 hours of gaming.

However, the Phone Pro 2 has certain limitations that justify its accessible price. Its ultra-wide camera is only 8 MP, and its processor is less powerful than those in models like the iPhone 16 or Samsung Galaxy S25, although it is on par with other budget smartphones. Furthermore, it has an IP54 durability rating, lower than the IP68 rating of many of its competitors, indicating less resistance to dust and water.

On another note, Nothing has also designed new CMF earbuds for those seeking budget audio options. The CMF Buds 2, priced at $59 (around 1,200 pesos), offer features such as spatial audio and hybrid active noise cancellation of 48 dB. For a more affordable option, the CMF Buds 2a are available for $49 (almost 1,000 pesos) and provide less effective active noise cancellation. For those willing to invest a bit more, the CMF Buds 2 Plus, which cost $69 (approximately 1,500 pesos), offer a more advanced audio experience with features such as high-resolution LDAC and full equalization.

A detailed review of the earbuds and the phone is expected to establish their effectiveness and performance in practice.
