Samsung discontinues its Smart TVs and launches a fascinating new generation with AI TV.
Say goodbye to your Samsung Smart TV: Discover AI TV, the innovative way to reinvent your television.
Samsung has decided to move beyond its Smart TVs to introduce a new concept known as AI TV, an initiative aimed at updating the way users interact with their televisions. In a context where Artificial Intelligence is increasingly integrated into daily life, the South Korean company is introducing a more advanced approach to provide more intuitive and fluid experiences.
The new approach, called Vision AI, is designed to enhance and simplify the television viewing experience. This system uses Artificial Intelligence to transform traditional Smart TVs, enabling devices to interact more effectively with users. Thanks to its advanced processing capabilities, AI TVs can "see" and interpret images and videos, allowing them to extract relevant information to assist users in decision-making.
This makes the television experience more interactive, adapting content to each user's personal preferences through tools like deep learning models. Thus, the television evolves from being a mere entertainment object to an active assistant in daily life. For example, the Pet Care function allows users to adjust the TV, music, and even the home temperature based on their pets' needs, while the Karaoke option enables using a phone as a microphone.
Felipe Larraín, from the branding department for TVs and audio at Samsung Chile, commented on other innovations such as Universal Gesture, which allows users to control commands through hand gestures, and Generative Wallpaper, which facilitates the creation of personalized wallpapers using keywords, thus redefining user interaction with digital content.
AI TV is available in the Neo QLED, OLED, QLED, and The Frame ranges. Additionally, Vision AI technology adjusts both image and sound in real time, adapting to the user's environment to optimize the audiovisual experience. Finally, all models in the Vision AI line are compatible with the Art Store, Samsung's platform where users can find digitized artworks by classical and contemporary masters.
