References to the Galaxy S25 FE firmware have emerged, suggesting that Samsung is on track to launch this new model in the near future, possibly in September or October. These 'Fan Edition' series devices typically offer an attractive balance between price and performance.

The information comes from an analysis conducted by a team of experts, who found evidence that firmware development for the Galaxy S25 FE is already underway. This firmware represents the most basic layer of software that operates below Android, known as One UI on the brand's devices.

While this discovery does not provide concrete details about the device, it indicates that Samsung remains committed to the FE device family and will be unveiling the Galaxy S25 FE soon. The unlocked model for the United States bears the model number SM-S731U and uses firmware version S731USQU0AYDH. The phone is expected to run One UI 8, based on Android 16, although One UI 7 is still being rolled out on many Samsung devices.

Regarding the release date of the Galaxy S25 FE, expectations are uncertain; however, considering that the previous model was launched in September and that the Galaxy S23 FE was introduced in October 2023, it could be inferred that this new device will also be launched during that period.
